How a truck from China runs
Cargo is collected from the supplier or the carrier's consolidation warehouse, loaded and booked on a CMR. The truck crosses at Khorgos or Bakhty and continues to a warehouse or shop in Almaty, Astana, Shymkent or another city.
Full truck or groupage
A dedicated truck makes sense for around 80 m³ or 20 t, or when cargo must not be reloaded. It runs direct and is usually faster. Smaller shipments go as groupage, where you pay only for your own kilograms or cubic metres.
What affects price and transit
Price depends on density, pickup city and goods type. Transit depends on border queues and can stretch by several days before Chinese New Year, Golden Week in October and at year end.
