Authenticity checks

Bluetooth headphones work the same whichever version you buy. Most fakes are AirPods, Sony and Bose, so every batch goes through three checks.

  • The serial on the box matches the one on the case or device.
  • AirPods serials are verified on Apple's website.
  • For Sony, Bose and JBL, the part number and box contents are checked against the manufacturer's spec.

Power and plug

Headphones come with a USB-C cable and no adapter. Speakers and soundbars from the UAE and Hong Kong have a type G plug. US versions may be rated 110⁠–⁠120 V, so we check the voltage by part number.

For resale

Shops and Kaspi sellers buy AirPods and the best-selling Sony and JBL models. If a box is dented, we swap it with the supplier before dispatch, provided they have a replacement.
