20ft or 40ft

A 20ft container suits heavy cargo such as metal, tiles and machinery, where weight runs out before space does. A 40ft or 40HC suits bulky goods such as furniture, appliances and boxed products.

How we arrange it

How a container from Dubai or China is handled:

  • we choose a shipping line or rail operator and book the container
  • we arrange loading at the supplier or the shipper's warehouse
  • we prepare the bill of lading or SMGS and export documents
  • we track the container and tell you where it is
  • we deliver the container to the consignee's warehouse

What the quote covers

Route and origin port or station, container type, season, cargo weight and hazard class. Empty container return, waiting time at unloading and port storage if cargo is delayed are charged separately; we list these in the quote up front.

Unloading at your warehouse

The container is delivered to your warehouse. Unloading on your side needs to be arranged in advance: time, equipment and truck access.
