Electronics for Kaspi sellers: where each kind comes from

In Dubai and Hong Kong finished devices come from wholesalers and distributors. In China the work is with factories and trading companies, where batch cost and own-brand packaging matter. Many models are sold in both Dubai and Hong Kong; the regional version, and with it the SIM layout and bands, is set by the model number.

• Dubai and Hong Kong: Apple and Samsung phones, game consoles, laptops, tablets, headphones and watches from major brands, Dyson appliances.
• China: chargers, cables, cases, car electronics, smart home devices, small appliances, PC components.
• Power banks and goods with large lithium batteries: air carriage is restricted by IATA rules, and the delivery mode depends on battery rating and packing.

Kaspi's seller guide restricts children's goods, pharmacy, sport and tourism, beauty and health, pet goods, leisure and books, vitamins and supplements, motorcycles, fireworks and jewellery. Electronics are not on the list. Kaspi updates it from time to time.

Kaspi charges commission only on completed sales. The rate is fixed per category and higher during promotions.

Since 20 August 2026 a smartphone cannot be sold in Kazakhstan without IMEI verification: the seller checks the device before sale and writes the IMEI on the purchase document.

• Purchase price, in dollars or dirhams.
• Delivery to Kazakhstan by chargeable weight: for air, the greater of actual and volumetric weight.
• Kaspi's category commission, higher during promotions.
• Delivery to the buyer and returns.
• Exchange-rate movement between paying the supplier in foreign currency and selling in tenge.

Kaspi Juma runs several times a year: 6⁠–⁠9 November 2025, 12⁠–⁠15 February and 18⁠–⁠21 June 2026. As of 19 October the autumn 2026 dates are not announced; in 2025 they came out on 27 October. Stock has to be in the warehouse when the sale starts.

September means new iPhones and back-to-school, December means New Year gifts. February and March shipments from China are hit by Chinese New Year; there is a separate article on winter buying.

We check Kaspi batches where they are bought, before they ship to Kazakhstan.

• Model number and regional version match the order.
• Box contents: power adapter, plug type, cable.
• The IMEI on the box and in the phone are the same.
• Boxes intact, no signs of opening.
